Rolling Admission means that if a session fills up, we automatically roll your application over to the next session for consideration. No need to apply again. Most of our programs have five (5) start dates throughout the year except MATL and MASAA which have summer and fall cohorts respectively. Rolling Admission also means that you can expect to receive a response in a shorter time frame as opposed to schools that only review applications once per semester.

What is March or October Start?
For most of our online and hybrid programs, we are able to offer you the flexibility of starting at the beginning of a semester – “A” session – by choosing a 16-week or 8-week course – or starting mid-semester with an 8-week course (you can take two of these in a semester) during – “B” session or in the spring it’s called March Start (in fall it’s October Start) – which allows you to complete one 8-week course (equivalent course work and credit of the 16-week course) in one semester with a delayed start.

Priority Consideration Deadline is the date by which you need to complete your short online application form (only takes a few minutes to set up your account). From there, you can begin to work with your counselor to complete your application package. By meeting the Priority Consideration Deadline, you gain priority review of your application. This is important as we admit students on a rolling basis.

Nailah Blades

Nailah Blades circle“Before the program I felt stuck and frustrated with my career and the frustration was impacting my personal life. Obtaining my Master’s from Gonzaga gave me the knowledge and confidence to begin my career in Marketing and Communication Consulting. I am so happy with the direction my life has taken since then.”

– Nailah Blades, Wylie & Co. | Alumnus, 2013

Michael Ballard

michaelballardtestimonialWhen I think of “Inner Zag,” I think it is more than just a catch-phrase. I believe it means the inward ability to inspire others as a true servant for the human family, each and every one of us. The strength to ignite brilliant encouragement for others is paramount to finding our inner Zag. When I meet fellow Zags in the community, I cannot help but smile because I know they’re part of my Gonzaga family.”

– Michael Ballard, Lecturer of American Sign Language in the World Languages and Cultures Department, Iowa State University | Alumnus, 2014
