What is Zagweb?

Zagweb is Gonzaga University’s self-service web information system. Current students, new and prospective students, employees, and alumni can receive access to Zagweb.

Through Zagweb, students are able to access course registration, grade reporting, course evaluation, financial aid, and student accounts information. Alumni can review/update their alumni record and link to the University’s online alumni community, Zags-Online.

How do I get access?

  • To access Zagweb, go to
  • Click the
    • “Enter Secure Area” menu option. Please note that to access Zagweb students must have both a “User ID” (Student ID#) and a “PIN” (6-digit-number) to view personal information. If a student has not already changed the pin, the default password is the student’s birthdate.
  • Enter User ID and PIN then click the
    • “Login” button.

How do I get training?

A video-tutorial is provided to assist students with logging into Zagweb. Visit and follow along. This video also describes pin-reset features, registration features, transcript and clearinghouse access features.

Who do I contact if I have problems?

Students may call their Student Services Team if they experience difficulties accessing Zagweb. Students may call or email the IT Support Center (help desk) for more information.

All accepted and active students receive a university email account. Email is considered an official form of communication by Gonzaga University to students.  Students are responsible for regularly checking and reading messages sent to their university account.

How do I get access?

Students may access their account at

A student’s email Username and Password will be provided by a Student Services Coordinator upon acceptance to Gonzaga University. Students are encouraged to change their Zagmail Password.

How do I change my password?

Students can change their password through the password reset portal or by contacting the ITS Help Desk at (509)313-5550.

Although there is a forwarding option, we have found e-mail is often bounced back or is undeliverable. As an online student, it is imperative that we be able to contact students via email in a timely fashion. As such, we require that students do not forward their email account and to check Zagmail on a frequent basis.

How do I get training?

Atomic Learning provides a self-paced training tutorial on using the Zagmail account. Students may click on the link below using their Zagmail Username and Password to access the tutorial. Atomic learning also offers other online tutorials and workshops covering everything from software applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and online “freebies” like Skype to the basics of using APA style. (Students can log in using their Gonzaga username and password)
